As joint founder members, Marconi Digital & Showtime Satellite proudly announce in association with Northern Vision on Line and Euro Sport TV our brand new non-profit making association AMRA “Audiovisual and Media Rights Association”.
We have listened to our many commercial clients around Europe which include Brewery Chains, Public Houses, Bars, Restaurants, Satellite Retail Shops, Leasing Agents and Installation Engineers.
We have invested heavily and wisely to help protect all of the above, in the complex field of Live Sports Broadcasting. Previous and existing so called associations / insurance policies have failed miserably to protect the organisations above. Recent Court cases have proven yet again, how only the experts can help and support the leisure industry in the UK and European Courts.
Costly Court cases can only be funded and presented appropriately by expert law firms specialising in UK and European Copyright / Broadcasting Law. Our new association is there for all who wish to join. It provides plain, unadorned protection for all members, by giving clear, simple advice, including the rules of the association in the uncomplicated use of the English language.
Each member will receive automatic insurance cover including OGB Law representation (on acceptance of membership) only after downloading, joining and of course paying their membership fees. This is now our only recommend full cover membership with built in insurance policy, that Marconi Digital endorse. This policy is unique because it not only gives all our clients in the above category both Criminal and Civil Cover, but it also provides: “In respect of all issues relating to legal expenses incurred by the insured person in respect of defending any legal action civil or criminal, brought against the insured by the Football Association Premier League, British Sky Broadcasting, The Football Association, UEFA, The Football League, Trading Standards or any of their associated undertakings or agents with respect to the dispute with paid up members of AMRA concerning the reception of foreign satellite television channels, use of foreign satellite television reception equipment and viewing of football premier league matches broadcasts on foreign satellite TC equipment or channels. We will indemnify the policyholder (the member) and / or the insured persons against legal expenses of up to £50,000
In addition: as above we have listened and the membership will also include, monthly news letters on current legal issues, lobbying trading standards, MP’s, Broadcasters and local police authorities. We will provide a special member’s area where advice and discussions between members will be encouraged. Membership special offers along with all the latest information on products and services available to all. In short all the other polices did not offer and do not offer, is built in, in the AMRA membership.
Finally “please” all remember this association has been set up specifically for you, our all important clients.
